Landscape irrigation systems that have an efficiency of less than 60% should not be operated.

Most landscape irrigation systems that I evaluate have an efficiency rating of less than 50%. Irrigation run times are often increased to compensate for the poor efficiency. This leads to over watering the majority of the zone.
